When adjudicating requests for provisional measures (preliminary injunction; PI), Unified Patent Court (UPC) panels do not apply a strict maximum time limit from when knowledge of an infringement was or should have been obtained. It appears so far that two months are often deemed acceptable, and more may be considered reasonable if the process of producing a strong showing of a likely infringement is particularly time-consuming in a given case.
